Norwich University will again be offering a number of events in June 2019 related to the fields of public administration and cyber security. Mark your calendars and be sure to join us for the events highlighted below. Drone License Exam Preparation Course
From June 4-6, a drone license preparation course will be offered on campus. Designed to serve a broad array of individuals, including public safety officials, photographers, military personnel and real estate agents, the course provides the opportunity to develop the skills in this emerging technological specialty while preparing you to take the Commercial Drone Flying License Exam. The cost is $1,800 per person ($1,600 for Norwich alumni) and includes all course materials and a camera-equipped drone. Visit the event website to learn more.
Cyber Security Summit
Back for its third year, and co-sponsored by NIGP (The National Institute for Government Procurement), the Cyber Security Summit will take place on the Norwich University campus June 18-19, 2019. This event will bring together experts from the fields of information security and assurance, business, public administration and more to discuss the latest in federal cyber security policy and the practical applications at the state and local levels. Mid- and executive-level managers seeking to broaden their organization’s approach to prudent cyber security practices can gain valuable insight from an international panel of professionals who will lead a series of workshops and discussions on relevant issues facing the industry. Procurement Symposium
As the preferred education partner of the National Institute for Government Procurement (NIGP), and in partnership with them, Norwich University's College of Graduate and Continuing Studies is offering its inaugural Procurement Symposium June 18-19, 2019. The event will take place during the annual Residency Conference and is open to the public. Nonprofit Management Symposium
Also for the first time, Norwich will be hosting a Nonprofit Management Symposium during the Residency Conference from June 18-19, 2019. The event is being co-chaired by the Chairman of the Board of the Arthur C. Clark Foundation. This two-day symposium will focus on nonprofit management, volunteer training, strategic planning, and fundraising.
