Norwich University’s College of Graduate and Continuing Studies (CGCS) renewed an agreement with the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Navy SEA) January 3, 2020, so that Navy SEA graduates can enter into a Norwich online bachelor’s degree program, master’s degree program, graduate level certificate program or a Norwich Pro continuing professional education certificate program with either maximum credit transfer or tuition discount eligibility.

With the goal of easing the enrollment process, Navy SEA graduates can transfer as many as 24 credits of their Navy SEA education into one of Norwich’s seven online bachelor’s degree completion programs, and they may also transfer up to 90 credits total of previous military training and college coursework. Faculty advisors can be awarded up to 6 transfer credits into Norwich’s online 12-credit graduate level Teaching and Learning Certificate program.

In addition, Navy SEA graduates are eligible for a 15 percent tuition discount into one of Norwich’s 12 online master’s degree programs or into an online graduate level certificate program. Additionally, Navy SEA graduates may earn a 35 percent discount into a Norwich Pro continuing professional education certificate course (for active duty military).

“Norwich’s goal is to provide relevant and rigorous programs so that students can succeed in their academics and careers, and with this agreement, I look forward to working with the Navy SEA to continue providing education that will prepare those students as leaders in their fields,” CGCS Vice President and Dean Bill Clements said.
