Todd Lecture Series – Wednesday, June 19, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
The 2019 Residency Conference Keynote Speaker, Carey Lohrenz, is a featured speaker of Norwich University's Todd Lecture Series. As the first female F-14 Tomcat pilot, Lohrenz was a pioneer in military aviation. In her motivating and engaging keynote presentation, she will reveal how her experiences and challenges having flown missions worldwide as a combat, mission-ready U.S. Navy pilot, taught her to work in a fast moving, dynamic environment where inconsistent execution can generate catastrophic results. Her experience in the all-male environment of fighter aviation and her ability to pass on the lessons learned in her career allow her to deliver insight and guidance from a credible platform on women’s leadership issues.
Lohrenz has delivered her leadership and strategy experience to such companies as Cisco, Dell, TEVA, Deloitte, Underwriters Laboratories, Verizon, AT&T, Kimberly Clark, State Farm Insurance, Sea Ray Boats, and many more.
The Todd Lecture Series is named in honor of W. Russell Todd and his late wife, Carol Todd, in gratitude for their dedicated service to Norwich University and the Northfield community. Established in 2008, the Todd Lecture Series has brought revered, provocative, and surprising speakers to campus covering a variety of themes while remaining free and open to the public. For more information or to view the lecture the day of the event, visit the Todd Lecture Series website.
