Abstract:

The efficient integration of structure is crucial to maximum functioning of the facility specifically how to fit the greatest number of vehicles into the smallest space with life safety, zoning and building code compliance. Big spans of beam, girder and slabs with high density of live load and dead loads are the biggest concern for the structural design challenge. Critical Post tensioned slabs, beams, girders and pre-stress AASHTO girder ramps are brought into main focus of interest. Functional design, structural integration, traffic engineering, structural concepts, traffic load consideration, behavior of materials and applicable code consideration are being taken into considerable account in conjunction with this project.
