Online Nursing Programs for Veterans and Active Duty Military

Norwich University’s online nursing programs are ideal for veterans and active military Servicemembers seeking a nursing education. Although many schools offer support for military students, Norwich University has a legacy educating military leaders from our origin as the first private military college in the United States. Though no longer exclusively a military college, Norwich University still retains a deep knowledge of the different considerations and challenges facing veterans and active duty military students as they pursue their education.

With programs for nurses at different stages of their careers, including our completely online RN to BSN degree and the online MSN degree, veterans and active duty military personnel can advance their skill set and prepare for re-entry into the civilian workforce with confidence at Norwich University.

Why Study Nursing at Norwich

At Norwich University, we focus on the success of our students. Whether discussing your GI Bill® eligibility or understanding issues related to deployment, our support system is here to work with you every step of the way. That is the difference found in a Norwich University nursing education.

Once accepted and enrolled, students are assigned a student support advisor. This advisor serves as an advocate throughout a student’s education to help navigate the matters particular to veteran and military education, as well as any other challenges students may face along the way.

Online nursing students also gain full access to our dedicated distance learning librarians and reference staff. This resource enables students to conduct research related to nursing classes and dive further into areas of interest just as easily as if they were here on campus.
